Below we list all of the most common questions you may have for the Snowsport History Celebration. If your question is not answered here, please contact us.
What is a Patron Membership?
The most popular way to support the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame is by becoming a Patron today. Black Diamond Patrons and above receive Skiing History magazine, published by the International Skiing History Association, along with regular e-letters and invitations to Hall of Fame special events.
Why should I become a Patron?
Becoming a Patron helps support the U.S. Ski and Snowboard Hall of Fame. Patrons will also have access to additional benefits and give-aways during the week and throughout the year. At the same time, you will be supporting our efforts annually and helping us to continue to promote the history of our sports.

Do I need to create an account to register for the event in Squaw Valley?

You can reset your password here.
Does my account subscription automatically renew?
Yes. Patron subscriptions will automatically renew every year. You can cancel anytime to avoid being charged.
How can I cancel my Patron subscription?

Where do I get my tickets?
Just go to Purchase Tickets on SnowsportHistory.com and you will be guided through the process. Your tickets will be emailed to you along with a confirmation email and lodging codes.
Can I upgrade my ticket to a PASS?
No. Once you buy a la cart tickets they are not refundable or transferable. If you want to purchase additional tickets, you can do so at any time as long as the event is not sold out. Space is limited in each party so please be sure to purchase all tickets for your entire party at the same time to ensure that there are enough tickets to satisfy everyone planning to attend.
What events does the VIP PASS include?
The VIP Pass includes all events Friday, Saturday and Sunday. By purchasing this NON-TRANSFERABLE pass, you gain access to Friday mornings snowHISTORYx, first tracks, Friday evenings snowHISTORYx, the Legends Party, Saturday’s Red Carpet Reception, the Induction Ceremony, After Party and Sunday Morning Famous First Tracks.
Why do I need to provide my guest’s name?
Everyone that attends SHC receives a credential with their name on it. Tickets are non-transferable and we need to provide a guest list to the resort for discounted lift tickets and other deals. Photo ID may be required for entry to any SHC event and at the ticket-window.
Where do I get my hotel code?
Hotel codes are only available once tickets are purchased. Once you purchase your tickets on EventBrite, you will be emailed your tickets and a confirmation email. In that email, you will receive a code to use to book your lodging for the event at the killer rates we have negotiated just for you.
Is there a minimum number of nights I have to stay to get the hotel rates & is it double occupancy?
There is no minimum night stay. The base room is double occupancy but rooms with two queen beds may not be available long once ticket sales go live. Hotel blocks will hit limits as early as February. To ensure the best deal, buy your event tickets ASAP and book your lodging right away.
